Welcome to École KLO
Middle School
École KLO Middle School is the one and only French Immersion Middle School in the Central Okanagan. Our students are in grades 7, 8 and 9. We are a dual track school with about half of our approximately 840 students in either the English or French track. We have a proud tradition as an accomplished academic and sport oriented school with excellent school spirit.

| WORK ETHIC MARKING SCALE KLO Middle School has developed a set of standards so that parents and students can clearly see the qualities needed to receive a Good "G" work ethic. The attached scale outlines these expectations. Any feedback from parents on this scale can be emailed to the principal.

| CATCHMENT AREA REVIEW SURVEY The Board of Education is responsible for the establishment of school catchment areas for each school in the School District. A District Catchment Area Review Committee has been established to undertake a review and analysis of current school catchment area (school boundaries) to determine if they are still appropriate.
While the geographic area of School District No. 23 is static, many factors within the District are constantly changing. The number of students, their geographic distribution and demographic characteristics are all factors within the school system which must be considered in the formation or revision of school catchment areas.
The Board of Education values input from parents, students and staff. The District Catchment Area Review Committee is looking for your input to prioritize the guiding principles by which meaningful and sustainable catchment areas can regulate school identities and populations in a fair and equitable manner. This is your opportunity to "have a say" on how school catchment areas should be evaluated. To complete the survey please go to the School District web page at: www.sd23.bc.ca Click on the catchment area survey button. Thank you for taking to time to participate.
